Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

Genie Quiz collects your email address, name, and basic public profile details when you register directly or authenticate using Google, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok OAuth for account management and video delivery purposes.

2. Video Content

All generated scripts and videos are stored on our servers. We do not use your private content to train general AI models without your consent.

3. Platform Integrations

YouTube API Services: If you connect your YouTube account, we use YouTube API Services to upload and publish videos on your behalf. By using this service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at any time via the Google Security Settings page.

Meta APIs (Facebook & Instagram): If you connect your Facebook Pages or Instagram Business accounts, we use the Meta Graph API to upload reels and videos on your behalf and to fetch video performance statistics (views, likes, comments). By connecting these accounts, you agree to be bound by the Meta Privacy Policy.

TikTok API: If you connect your TikTok account, we use the TikTok Content Publishing API and Data API to publish videos and retrieve performance metrics. By connecting your account, you agree to be bound by the TikTok Privacy Policy.

4. Data Deletion & Revocation

You have full control over your connected accounts and personal data:

  • Disconnecting Accounts: You can disconnect any connected social channel (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram) from the Dashboard settings. This immediately deletes the API access tokens stored in our system.
  • Revoking Platform Access: You can also revoke access directly through each platform's security page:
    • Google/YouTube: Google Security Settings
    • Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Go to your Facebook Profile > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites, find "Genie Quiz", and click "Remove".
    • TikTok: Go to your TikTok App Settings > Security > Manage App Access, find "Genie Quiz", and click "Remove Access".
  • Full Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your Genie Quiz account and all associated profile data from the Dashboard Settings under "Danger Zone", or by contacting us at privacy@geniequiz.com. We will process your deletion request within 48 hours.

5. Third Parties & Data Security

We share necessary data with Stripe for payment processing and Google Gemini for AI script generation. We do not sell your personal data or API tokens to any third-party advertisers. All tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest.
